Australian Visa application fees are going up again on 1st September 2013 The Working Holiday Visa fee will be $420 The 457 Employer sponsored visa fee will be $1,035 The permanent skilled visa fees will rise from $3,060 to $3,520 - the additional fees for family members will also rise .

Has anyone lodged or looking to lodge an Australian 457 employer sponsored work visa as a Program and Project Administrator or Specialist Manager ?
The new mandatory skills assessment requirement for these occupations only applies to applications lodged on or after 1 July 2013
It is not a mandatory requirement for applications lodged prior to 1 July 2013, however if immigration are unclear about whether an applicant has suitable skills for the position they may ask the applicant to submit a formal skills assessment.
The Australian Minister for Immigration and Citizenship Tony Burke has overturned some retrospective legislation on subclass 457 work visa applications. The change ensures that pre-1st July 457 visa applicants would not have to meet new English Literacy requirements that came into effect on 1 July.
